The hub of the wheel

I went to college for Fashion Design and dreamed my way through projects that would never see the light of a factory cutting table, let alone be able to be scaled & mass produced. But when I got my first job at Ralph Lauren, I discovered my true passion: Product Development. Working with mills & button suppliers to get the finish, the color, the texture JUST right (we had the luxury of time back then). The engineer in me popped out, wanting to get every facet of the garment working together in harmony so that the end product was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also a pleasure to wear.

This is what I still love to do: take the chaos of an idea and create harmony. Bill of Materials, Construction Detail Sketches, Points of Measure…all spokes of a wheel where the Tech Package is the hub.
