You Have To Be In It To Win It
This may not be a popular thing to say but…
Use it or lose it. 3D, that is.
At PI Apparel today, I heard a lot of company’s representatives talking about techniques used to get their employees to embrace, accept, or even grudgingly use 3D.
The apparel industry is going digital and there isn’t any way around that.
If a company wants to be sustainable, compete, scale, and be able to be found on the internet in 2026 (google GEO), they are going to have to implement a DPC workflow.
Leadership needs to understand, believe, support, and impart this to everyone in the company…yes everyone, whether they will be a part of it on a daily basis or not.
It needs to be known that DPC is a foundational function to be supported at every step.
And there is no time or space available for employees not accepting 3D as part of their positions.
If you are a brand that is serious about their DPC, they need everyone to be on board…or they need to find another ship.
